Type: Plastic tub or glass tank with ventilation
Size: Minimum 30 × 20 × 20 cm (bigger is always better)
Lid: Secure + ventilated (they are escape artists)
🌱 Substrate
Best: Topsoil / eco earth (5–10 cm deep)
Keep moist, not wet
Avoid gravel, sand, or soil with fertilizers

Temp: 22–28°C (72–82°F)
Humidity: 70–90%
Light misting daily or every other day
Use a heat mat on the side if needed.
🥬 Feeding
Daily veggies (rotate):
Cucumber, zucchini
Sweet potato
Carrot
Leafy greens (romaine, dandelion)
Calcium (mandatory):
Cuttlefish bone (always available)
🚫 Never feed:
Citrus
Salty or processed food
Onion, garlic
Bread or pasta

Shallow dish or heavy misting
They drink droplets and absorb moisture through skin

Gentle handling is okay
Support the entire foot and shell
Never pull them off glass—wait until they release

They are hermaphrodites
Eggs appear easily and in large numbers
